We Are Renovating & Expanding Our Centre
Le Fevre Community Children’s Centre is one of only a handful of community-owned and operated Child Care centres in South Australia. It has always been important to the Management Committee that we ensure the centre is innovative and focused on best practices. We are aware that our physical environment has its limitations and are now looking to how we can develop the facilities to meet the changing needs of the community.
Bigger Garden Spaces To Enjoy & New Indoor Play Areas
In 2019 Le Fevre CCC purchased 9 Voules street, a house block immediately adjacent to the centre. It is our intention to extend the Child Care centre (54-72 places) and renovate the inside of the child care centre. The renovations will increase capacity and significantly improve our indoor environments, with better traffic flow, flexible spaces, increased storage and greater access to indoor/ outdoor play.
More Parking & Accessiblilty For Parents And Children
We have got final drafts for our plans and now we are waiting for confirmation of finance. If all goes well we should begin building at some time next year. The build will then be completed in 3 stages to ensure minimum disruption to our families.
